October New Releases

Hey guys, so October is one of my favorite months of the year. It's the beginning of fall, halloween, and most of all this year, October has brought 2 new books that have been highly anticipated. The kind of books where they are on your mind daily, and you countdown the days and months until you have that fresh new paper full of wonders in your hands.

The first book is Perfect Ruin by Lauren DeStefano. I have been a huge fan of Lauren every since  I read Wither. She's one of those authors who have the ability to make you love a character deep down to your core, and then she rips your soul out. I'm already preparing myself for heartbreak.

Morgan Stockhour knows getting too close to the edge of Internment, the floating city in the clouds where she lives, can lead to madness. Even though her older brother, Lex, was a Jumper, Morgan vows never to end up like him. If she ever wonders about the ground, and why it is forbidden, she takes solace in her best friend, Pen, and in Basil, the boy she’s engaged to marry.

Then a murder, the first in a generation, rocks the city. With whispers swirling and fear on the wind, Morgan can no longer stop herself from investigating, especially once she meets Judas. Betrothed to the victim, he is the boy being blamed for the murder, but Morgan is convinced of his innocence. Secrets lay at the heart of Internment, but nothing can prepare Morgan for what she will find—or whom she will lose.

The second book is Allegiant by Veronica Roth. The divergent series is one of my favorites, and it's a bittersweet moment that its all ending. I'm excited to finally see where Tris' story ends up.
